Dinner Recipe (Shrimp,Leek And Spinach Pasta)
Ingredient of Dinner recipe
- Gemelli,fusilli or other short pasta 3/4 pound
- Unsalted butter 2 tablespoons
- 2 Leeks,halved lengthwise then crosswise
- Black papper and kosher salt
- Pelled and devenied medium shrimp 1 pound
- Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
- Heavy cream 3/4 cup
- Baby spinach 10 ounches ( 12 cups)
Directions
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions,return and drain it to the pot
- Meanwhile,heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- Add the leeks,1/2 teaspoons salt,stiring occasionally,1/4teaspoon pepper and cook,until the leeks have softened 3 to 5 minutes
- Add the lemon zest and srimp and cook,tossing frequently,until the srimp is opaque threought 3to 5 minutes more
- Add the salt and cream 1/2 teaspoon to the pasta in the pot and cook over medium heat,stirring,until slightly thickehed, 1 to 2 minutes
- Add the strimp mixture and the spinach and toss to combine
